On Wednesday, April 5, 2017, a workshop was held for deans of the Colleges of agriculture at the University of Baghdad attended by:
Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research
The technical agent of the Ministry of Education
Mr. Advisor to the Prime Minister for Agricultural Affairs
Mr. President of the University of Baghdad
To discuss the achievements of each college.
The Minister of Higher Education praised the achievements of our college in particular, as well as the role of encoded desert studies in our university in combating desertification. He also directed the establishment of a unit called "conservation agriculture" in our college specifically for reasons that I will mention later in a report by the honorable president
