The Physics Department at the College of Education for Pure Sciences held a scientific symposium entitled "Physical Properties Study Using Hartree-Fock and its Comparison with DFT" by Dr. Bilal Kamal Ahmed the lecturer in the Department.

The seminar was attended by Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs Dr. Mustafa Ismail Nayef, Head of Department of Physics Dr. Anmar Dharar and a number of faculty members of Physics and College and a number of graduate students in the College.

The attendees discussed many aspects related to the subject of the symposium and also discussed the development of an integrated mechanism within the work of a periodic schedule to hold more scientific seminars to raise the academic level of its members and to present many studies that put the college and the department within the advanced classifications in the national academic classification.
