Introduction : Engineering Consulting Bureau / Anbar University, specialized in engineering consultancy, design, laboratory, electrical, mechanical and chemical testing, is pleased to provide all its consulting services. Where this Bureau has experts of engineering, technical and administrative specialist in addition to the equipment and equipment necessary to fulfill its obligations. The Engineering Consulting Bureau - Anbar University was established on the basis of the decision of the University Council adopted at the 8th at 22/1/1992 and in conjunction with the approval of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in accordance with its decision No. 12/474 at 11/3/1992 and started its activities from the date of the first meeting of the Supervisory Board held in March 1993.
The Bureau of the Law of the Scientific and consulting Services in the Higher Education and Scientific Research Institutions No. 64 of 1979 and the Ministry's Instructions No. 40 at 1992 and the subsequent developments in the consulting bureaus of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the development of economic life in the country.
Objectives
1- Providing consultancy, services and scientific, technical and experiences to the government departments, the socialist and mixed sectors, and any activity that is estimated to be prepared for the private sector.
2- To contribute in the rehabilitation of major industrial and executive projects.
3 - Contribute to raising the level of practice in the profession in Iraq and the involvement of academic staff in the jobs of the State institutions direct executive and cohesion of ideas with the field of work.
4 - Exchange of experiences with similar offices and related experiences inside and outside Iraq.
The efforts exerted towards achieving the above objectives have resulted in agreement with many governmental institutions and the private sector. Many consulting and executive contracts have been concluded for projects with specificities, which require precision in the implementation and rehabilitation of civil, mechanical and electrical works.
The Activities
1. Providing consultancy and solutions to engineering problems for all fields (architectural, civil, mechanical, electrical, health, etc.).
2. Structural evaluation of damaged buildings and provide solutions and guidance to address problems that exist.
3. Preparation of architectural designs for all types of concrete and steel projects.
4. Preparation of structural, sanitary, mechanical and electrical designs.
5. Prepare the Bill of Quantities and estimate the costs.
6. Preparation of quality control reports and specifications (QC).
7. Prepare environmental impact study reports for all proposed projects.
8. Preparation of occupational safety and health management reports.
9. Preparation of cost and material analysis studies for different projects.
10. General and direct supervision of various engineering projects.
11. Auditing and approving engineering designs.
12. Conduct topographic surveys and soil investigations for proposed project sites.
13. Conducting all laboratory tests for construction materials, concrete, soil, roads, and non-laboratory tests for various projects.
14. Implementation of special projects and high-precision.
15. Provide quality management consultancy (ISO 9000), total quality management and value engineering system.
