Field trip for fourth year students of civil engineering department

On Wednesday, 8/3/2017, all undergraduate students in fourth year of civil engineering department go on a field trip to Department of production plants- Al Mutasim general contracting company under supervision of Dr.Akram Shaker Mahmoud, Dr. Shelan Mahmoud, and Mr. Shahoo Mahmoud.

The field trip included many aspects related to the production of ready-mix concrete and pre-stressed concrete beams. The department director (Mr. Mohamed Hamad Abdel) and also his assistant (Mr. Ali Sabah Hanalal) introduced explanation of all parts of the concrete production plant to all students especially the production of precast concrete beams that have been used in the construction of concrete bridges.

We appreciate all the efforts made by the faculty of Engineering to support such these activities that have a significant impact on students' knowledge. We would like to thank the director of the production department in Al Mutasim general contracting company and his staff for their great efforts.
