Admission mechanism at the Dept. of English 2017/2018 - College of Education for Humanities
1 - The minimum grade of English in the sixth grade preparatory for the applicant student should not be less than 60.
2 - Admission in the Department will be for the highest score according to the equation (Excel program) and the percentage obtained from the following:
- English Language score + total score for all lessons = 50%
- The written test to be conducted by the department = 40%
- Oral test to be conducted by the department = 10%
Notes :
1- According to the admission plan, only 50 candidates will be accepted.
2- Students admitted to the college last year 2016-2017 and have not been assigned to the department for reasons related to the delay of the central admission are allowed to perform the written and oral tests under the mentioned conditions. They should bring a certificate from the Dean's Assistant for Student Affairs.
3- Those who have not passed the placement test in the previous year and accepted in any other department are not allowed to run again this year.
4- The written and oral test shall be on the same day and the date will be announced by the Deanship of the College later.
