 The duration of the final exams for university students is considered one of the most difficult times for students, as the student is exposed during this period to many psychological and physical pressures and in most cases develops to physical or psychological diseases, and for this the student must control these pressures in appropriate ways: First: One of the most important correct and appropriate ways to overcome psychological anxiety during exams:

1: Healthy sleep: that the student sleeps at least eight hours a day, this affects the student and helps him to succeed and excel. Staying up late and lack of sleep leaves great consequences for the student, and as it is said, early sleep and early awakening are among the most important factors for student success.

2: Optimism: The best way to succeed is optimism, as this optimism improves the student’s psychology and helps him to read seriously and understand topics in easier ways. This optimism comes by talking about the brilliant success that the student will achieve and his prosperous future as it brings high results. in the exams .

3: Stay away from sad and disturbing news for the student: At this time the student must stay away from everything that causes him anxiety and sadness, as this issue has a negative impact on the student’s psyche, and he must stay away from the frustrated people who plant negative feelings and thoughts within the student .

4: Creating a suitable atmosphere for study: The general environment of the student greatly affects the student’s psychology and preparation for exams. Therefore, the atmosphere must be suitable for study, whether by choosing a room designated for study, as well as good and appropriate lighting for it, as it has an impact on the student’s psyche, and this point is not only the student’s responsibility, but The role of the family enters into it, as they must stay away from any family disputes that may affect the student, as this time of the year is one of the most important and difficult times for the student.

 

5: Rewards: As it is always said, rewards have a great role on the psyche of the student and others, as the family must deliver a positive message to the student. It gives him the strength and determination to achieve what he and his family desire.

6: Prayer: At this time, the student should not forget to turn to God Almighty by praying to achieve what he desires. This gives the student peace and comfort during exams, and for her the family must encourage the student to read the Qur’an, the righteous supplication, and the remembrance of God before going to the exam and during school days.

Second: Among the physical things that the student must do during and before exams:

1- Healthy nutrition: It has a major role in increasing the student’s ability to memorize, focus and achieve the highest grades. The student must stay away from meals that may affect the brain and cause fatigue and satiety, and as it is known, a healthy mind resides in a healthy body.

2- Sports: It has a major role in influencing the student’s psyche, especially walking for at least an hour a day, as this leads to stimulating the mind and blood circulation, and it also works to improve the student’s psychology and increase his ability to memorize and remember.

The most important recommendations for the student before the exams:-

1- We recommend the student to get rid of fear and tension before the exams, so he should start studying the subject he loves and which is easy to memorize and this encourages the student to study what is more difficult than that.

2- We also recommend him not to communicate with the study continuously, and here the student must make a schedule for him to study, sports, rest and sleep, because the continuous study causes psychological pressure on the student.

3- The student should also not go to extremes in drinking stimulants such as tea and coffee because of their effect on the nervous system, which may cause tension and fear.

4- The student should make use of the early morning hours because of their impact on the human mind, as he is ready to receive information better than the night times.

Finally, the family must provide all the student’s requirements before the exams, such as pens and other materials, and we also advise the student to have breakfast on the day of the exam, because food provides the student with energy and vitality, not stress and fear.
