Vision 1. Providing students with basic Islamic knowledge (belief, advocacy, interpretation, hadith) 2. Providing students with theoretical and practical knowledge so that they become successful teachers, researchers, and advocates of Islam. Mission 1. Define Hadith concepts and vocabulary and their sources. 2. To create a Muslim personality characterised by deep understanding of Islamic values. 3. To rejecting extremism of religion. The students are cautioned to beware of exaggeration of religion. 4. To graduate students who are effective in society. Goals 1. List the basic principles in the science of the Holy Quran and its interpretation . 2. Define Hadith concepts and vocabulary and their sources. 3. Take pride in the Holy Quran and the Sunna. 4. Apply the principles of advocacy of Islam and call to God's religion with wisdom and good example. 5. Apply the skills of scientific research in preparing research projects. Tasks that performed by the department 1. Teaching Extraction of Hadith, Jarih wa Taadeel, Religions, Quran Sciences, Hadith: analytic approach, Jurisprudence, prophet biography, English language, computer, educational psychology, and method of research. 2. Apply acquired theoretical and practical knowledge in continuous and autonomous learning and development in new and specialized environments and situations 3. Participate in serving the community and promoting social and cultural values in a religious framework. 4. Evaluate religious concepts scientifically and participate in their correction 5. Deal with contemporary challenges in belief and religious principles by providing justification and evidence 6. urge the teaching staff to pursue scientific research to create a generation that is equipped with the expertise to cultivate Islamic values within society. 7. Apply the principles of Sharia and abide by religious principles and values in performing job tasks and dealing with colleagues. 8. To encourage the staff to be actively involved in academic research and to fortify their achievements by participation with local institutions and community service 9. Actively involved in different issues that serve Iraqi and Islamic community.
