College in Brief



 

    The College of Law was initially established as a department in the College of Administration and Economics / Anbar University in the year 2000-2001. Law department was able to fulfill his scientific and administrative responsibilities, which enabled him to be an independent college on its own, according to the order of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research No. 9397 on 08/10/2002 (after obtaining the approval of the previous Office of the Presidency of the Republic). Then the college developed and split itself into two parts, one in Ramadi city and the other in Fallujah city according to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research order number M and 5/111 on 28/2/2004. Later law college became a self-contained college in Ramadi city and another in Fallujah city, according to Ministerial Order No. M3 / 3195 on 5/7/2006. In 2009, the Department of Political Science was created in the College of Law / Ramadi according to the order of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of (M3 / 4352 in 10/6/2010) and the college's name became (College of Law and Political Science instead of / College of Law / Ramadi). Postgraduate / Masters studies have been opened in our college and in both departments. The college’s legal advisory office was also created in accordance with Ministerial Order No. 12 S / 36 on 1/5/2010. And the Journal of Law and Political Science was established, and it is a scientific refereed journal concerned with publishing legal and political research. The College of Law and Political Sciences / Anbar University is located in the southwest of Ramadi, 3 km away from the Ramadi Center.
