College of Medicine holds a Scientific Symposium on Hepatitis C

 Under the theme (Towards a Society Free of Hepatitis C (infectious liver inflammation type C) the college of Medicine held a scientific symposium in cooperation with the International Company of Medicine. The session was presided by Assist. Prof. Dr. Salah Noori Al-Ani and its rapporteur was Assist. Prof. Dr. Saad Mukhlef Mehaidi. The panel speakers were: Instr. Dr. Noor Naji Radeef Al-Haiyani, instr. Dr. Ahmed Khalef Soufi, and Assist. Prof. Dr. Yaseen Hamad Majeed.

The session was followed by a lecture by Prof. Dr. Shehab Ahmed Lafi on the ethics of scientific research. Assist. Prof. Dr. Zeina Mohammad Al-Sabti made a presentation on the electronic application form to the committee of scientific research committee.

The symposium was concluded with awarding a number of the college teaching staff members with the shield of distinction. A  pharmaceutical exhibition was  organized on the fringe of the symposium by the International Company of Medicine.

The symposium was attended by Dr. Mohammad Sabbah Dawood, Chief of doctors' syndicate in Anbar, Dr. Mohsin Farhan, director of Maternity & Children Teaching hospital, and a large gathering of the college teaching staff members and the physicians of anbar governorate.
