Objectives of the Department

Objectives of the Department of Quranic Sciences and Islamic Education:

     One of the main objectives of the Quranic Science Department is to build individuals who are confident of Allah and of themselves, fear no one except Almighty Allah, free from fear, armed with optimism, hope and success in all its steps, free from anxiety and mental disorder, thus achieving emotional maturity and emotional balance.

Other objectives include covering the need of the western region for qualified teachers and scientific and educational staff, and contributing to various human development programs through holding seminars, lectures and frequent visits to the schools and departments concerned as well as providing scientific advice and expertise.

Impact of the department on the moral and educational aspect:

1-Our department shows the great responsibility placed on the individual in raising, directing and reforming self, and preparing it to take responsibility regardless of the circumstances surrounding it.

2-Sets a strong brick for the sake of reforming society, since if each individual reformed self and raised it, the community will be free of diseases and deviations and it will go ahead for construction and reform.

3-Enlighten the educational institutions of the mechanism to guide individuals to achieve the goals they seek to educate the individual and reform society.

4- This department shows one of the important evaluation methods, defined as (self-assessment), which modern education seeks to apply, and the Quranic Sciences Department intends to achieve and arm the learners and graduates with it by:

1.The development of normal behavior, which regulates the relationship of the individuals' self with other people around them whether individuals or groups based on  the guidance of the Holy Quran, so that the educator becomes a Quran moving on the ground.

2.Development of internal moral conscience, which feeds on one's faith and beliefs, according to the correct Islamic faith and education that our department seeks to achieve.

3. To arm  students with culture and knowledge, backed by the Quranic ethics which achieve moral and educational behavior.

4. It is important that the moral education is integrated where it meets the needs of humanity in various areas, and the learner becomes  able to control himself and walk within this noble Quranic framework.

 - Its influence in the western region:

  Our department is very interested in the family, as it is the first educational means in the community. We do not disclose a secret if we say that three quarters of our department are females who will bear (along with their male brothers) the education and construction of the family in our region. Accordingly, cultured educators armed with high physical, moral, mental, religious and health education are prepared by the Quranic Science Department.
