The Iraqi woman in general, and the Anbaris in particular, has demonstrated high efficiency and great responsibility in various sectors and jobs, especially leadership ones, and she has thus deserved the absolute confidence that the senior leaders in our dear country have placed in her. The Department of Women Empowerment was created in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, as a result of which forty-one women’s empowerment units were established distributed among public universities, and forty units were created in private universities. These units take upon themselves the support of Iraqi women inside and outside universities.
