The women's Empowerment Unit at the Faculty held a scientific symposium entitled(violence against Women and ways to address it from the perspective of the Islamic religion) on wednesday, 13/12 /2023, at eleven o'clock in the morning and on the Alfarahidi hall of the college,
The symposium was moderated by prof. Dr. (Khalil Nouri Messehir) with the participation of the Dr. (Wathab Khalid Hussein), and the M. M (Marwa Muhammed Khalid) is responsible for the Women Empowerment unit of the college.
The symposium addressed the concept of violence against women, the causes of violence against women, the types of violence against womenand ways to address it from the perspective of the Islamic religion.
The aim of the symposium was to reduce violence against Women, to educate Women about their human rights, and to reject their exposure to violence.
