In his answer about the laws supporting women, Mr. Al-Sudani referred to the constitutional texts concerned with women’s rights, the legislative decisions before 2003, which are still in effect, and international agreements that need laws to regulate them. This is a package of laws about which the Supreme Judicial Council was addressed, and the Supreme Council for Women’s Affairs Women will adopt a special workshop on legislation related to women’s rights and the advancement of their status.
At the conclusion of his speech, the Prime Minister announced the government's readiness to support any feminist event or activity Arab or international, held in Iraq, which contributes to informing the world about our growing reality, away from the misleading operations that harm the image of Iraq.
