 The Women's Affairs Unit, in cooperation with the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit at the College of Science - Anbar University, held an awareness symposium entitled ((The role of the family in protecting and raising an exemplary personality for children)) on Tuesday, April 23, 2024.

 The symposium was attended by the following gentlemen:

 1. A.M.D.  Ahmed Khalaf Sufi, Head of the Family and Community Medicine Branch at the College of Medicine
 2.M.D.  Roya Abdel Hadi Muhammad, head of the Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Medicine
 The symposium was moderated by both female teachers
 1. A.M.D.  Yousra Mahmoud Hammadi, head of the Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Science
  1. A.M.D.  Oran Moneim Saud, head of the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit at the College of Science.

 The symposium was attended by the Dean of the College of Science, Dr.  Ismat Ramzi Abdel Ghafour and a large number of female and male teachers and students of the college who showed great interest in this important topic.

 The symposium addressed many important topics, including:
 • The importance of the family in an individual’s life.
 • The role of the family in raising a model personality for children.
 • Challenges facing the family in raising children.
 • Solutions and suggestions to provide a safe and supportive family environment for children.
 • Monitoring children by identifying their friends and preventing them from having bad friends
 • Providing advice and guidance on an ongoing basis and monitoring their behavior
 In addition to many important matters in raising children
 The symposium was distinguished by its interactive style, as the discussion was opened for attendees to ask their questions and discuss the topic.
 The symposium received great interaction from the attendees, who asked many questions to the Assistant Professor, Dr. Ahmed Khalaf Sufi, and the teacher, Dr. Roya Abdel Hadi Muhammad, who answered them with open arms and in an accurate and clear manner.
 The respected Dean of the College praised the importance of this symposium, which enhances the role of the family in raising children and its influence on building their personalities, and he appreciated the efforts made in organizing this awareness-raising symposium.
