Under the Auspice of the dean of the college Prof. Idham Ali Abd, the electronic education committee in cooperation with department of soil sciences and water resources held an electronic workshop entitled ((Urban Agriculture - Future Prospects)) using Google Hangouts Meet presented by Prof. Haneen Shartooh Shaoqi

The workshop included the importance of Agriculture in cities and neglected areas for many goals like self - satisfaction for citizens and to add natural beauty, in addition to decrease the pollution by increasing planting cover espcially after using agricultural lands in building houses.

The instructor insisted on the importance of planting and recycling ashes to be environment friend like tires, plastic dishes, and encouraging farmers to use modern Agricultural methods like hydroponic and Acoloponic which proved its high production to prevent water wastage

At last, the instructor insisted on what our country suffering from wars, boycott quarantine, and water resources receding which acquired encouraging urban agriculture and an invitation to it take in account the Japanese ideal experiment and other developed countries

The workshop also included discussions by many of teaching staff and researchers from different Iraqi universities.
