Department of History
The department was established in the academic year 2001-2002. The department witnessed a qualitative and quantitative development in terms of the number of accepted students, graduates, teaching staff and certificates granted by the department. Higher studies (Master & PhD) were established in the department both in Islamic History and Modern History. The Department of History is the largest among the departments of the faculty in terms of teaching staff and the number of students. The department has a large number of scientific and research publications. The department has made many valuable contributions to the community service and maintaining the integrity of the Arabic language through training courses and workshops at the college and university levels.
