college council

This is the administrative formation concerned with the secretariat of the college council which is the highest authority in the college. It presided by the dean of the college and the membership of the scientific and administrative assistants of the dean, heads of the scientific departments, and the secretary of the council who is being chosen from the teaching staff of the college. The college council secretariat is directly responsible to the dean of the college.

 

-Documenting and follow-up all the  scientific and administrative affairs of the college council that are relevant to teaching staff members or students affairs discussed in the council meetinfs and documented it its minutes to be approved by the university council. 

-organizing the schedule of the college council and distributing it to the members of the council after being approved by the dean of the college

-Follow-up the directions of the university president mentioned in the university council meetings minutes

-Presenting, follow-up, and implementation of the official letters and directions from the ministry, university, and other parties on public affairs, undergraduate students affairs, and those relevant to the powers of the university council

-Make decisions and recommendations on scientific promotions requests of the teaching staff members

-Making decisions and recommendations on the undergraduate students requests such as postponement, increase absence percentage, write off cases, transference and hosting affairs 

-Making decisions and recommendations on updates and the affairs forwarded by the scientific departments and dean assistants that require to be addressed in lieu of the powers of the college council

-Discussion of the possibilities of creation and deletion in lieu of the college capabilities.
