University of Anbar research platform launched

The President of the University, Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Taleb Al-Nada, launched the construction and design of the University of Anbar Research Platform. This step is motivated by the Presidency of the University of Anbar interest to invest the tremendous and rapid development in the field of information technology and computer networks, and to use them to provide academic and research services within the university as well Iraqi and Arab universities.
The University of Anbar research platform aims to present the university's research products easily and for free. It also aims at encouraging academics and researchers at the university to advance scientific research and engage in its community by learning and benefiting from others' experiences. Exchanging experiences, and seeking solutions and alternatives to the problems and challenges academics and researchers face in the field of specialization becomes possible via this platform.
The platform also provides opportunities for researchers to document their scientific and research records and introduce them to the research, scientific and academic communities outside the university, thus building bridges of communication with others and enhancing their position and reputation in the field of specialization.
The platform will hopefully enhance the university’s status and its academic standing and reputation, as well as increasing the impact of the university’s official website (Web Impact), which is considered one of the most important standards in international rankings such as (QS and WeboMetrics) by increasing citations and visits to the university website.
The platform also provides an opportunity for researchers of the University of Anbar and all Arab and international universities to view and cite the scientific research findings of Anbar University researchers. The scientific research output of the university is considered one of the most important criteria adopted in evaluating universities and obtaining advanced levels in important international classifications. This will be definitely reflected in elevating the university impact and quality.
Researchers often face many challenges and difficulties to complete their research work, starting from the proposal, and selecting the methodology of the research, all the way to the evaluation and publication stage after choosing an accredited journal within the field of competence.
