Muheneid Hamad Ahmed AL- Karboly   Assit. Prof.Dr.

Praise be to God, and prayers and peace be upon our master Muhammad and his family and peace. As for what follows.  Every nation has a civilization and a heritage, which the children inherited from their fathers and grandfathers, may God Almighty have mercy on them, and then the nation’s rise, by knowing that heritage and presenting it to the world. Our righteous predecessors have a legacy, and among this heritage is the noble hadith, which the Companions, may God be pleased with them, took from the Prophet Muhammad, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, and the followers, may God be pleased with them, took it from the Companions, may God be pleased with them. This honorable science, which is the second source of Islamic law. As for the work in translating Imam al-Shafi’i, which is part of the manuscript, knowing that the manuscript is originally divided into two chapters, the first chapter is on the Companions, the Companions, the Followers and the Followers, and the second chapter: which is in the mention of those who have the origins of the mentioned and others, and this is what we are about, It is the translation of Imam Muhammad bin Idris, known as Imam Al-Shafi’i. Imam al-Shafi’i: Muhammad ibn Idris al-Shafi’I Imam al-Shafi’i: Muhammad ibn Idris al-Shafi’I Muhammad ibn Idris al-Shafi’i is Imam Abu Abdullah Muhammad ibn Idris ibn al-Abbas ibn Othman ibn Shafi’ ibn al-Sayeb ibn Ubaid ibn Abd Yazid ibn Hisham ibn al-Muttalib ibn Abd Manaf al-Qurashi al-Muttalib. Al-Sayib was the owner of the banner of Banu Hashim, so he captured and redeemed himself and then embraced Islam. Al-Shafi’i, may God be pleased with him, was born in Gaza in the year fifty and a hundred, and he was carried to Mecca when he was two years old, and it was said that he was born in Ashkelon. And it was said in Yemen, which is the year in which Imam Abu Hanifa, may God have mercy on him, died, and some of them said that he was born on the day Abu Hanifa died. Umm Al-Shafi’i, when she became pregnant with him, saw as if the buyer came out of her stomach and pounced, then fell in every town including a shata, and the crossing said that a great scholar would emerge from you. Al-Shafi’i said, may God be pleased with him, I saw the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, in sleep, and he said to me, “Boy, who are you?” I said, “Who are you, O Messenger of God?” He said, “Come close to me. The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, was in Makkah at the time of a boy in a dream, a man of good shape, leading some of our people in the Sacred Mosque. When he finished his prayers, he turned to the people and taught them. Al-Shafi’i said, may God be pleased with him, and there was a passage, so I presented the narrative to him, and he said that you will become an imam in knowledge and be upon the Sunnah, because the Imam of the Sacred Mosque is the best of all the imams, and as for the balance, you know the reality of something in itself.
