Under the patronage of the President of Anbar University, Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Taleb Al-Nada, and within the framework of the Sustainable Development Week, the Upper Euphrates Basin Development Center, in cooperation with the College of Law and Political Science, the Center for Strategic Studies and the Legal Affairs Department at the University Presidency, held a workshop tagged ((The Role and Impact of Legal Legislation in Achieving Sustainable Development Goals) ). The Director of the Upper Euphrates Basin Development Center, Prof. Dr. Ammar Hatem Kamel, indicated in his presentation of the workshop, which was also attended by Prof. Hadi Mishaan, Dean of the College of Law, the Associate Dean of the College and the heads of departments in it, in addition to the Director of the Renewable Energy Research Center and a number of researchers and academics, stressed the importance of the role of legal legislation in supporting and achieving sustainable development goals, which became a necessity and became an option in accordance with the international obligations of Iraq, and praised the great support and achievements it has achieved.
