Sixth Symposium

 

Under the generous patronage of Prof. Dr. Eng. Khaled Battal Al-Najm, President of Anbar University, and under the direct supervision of Prof. Dr. Akram Obaid Freih, Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences and Assistant Professor Dr. Eng. Thaer Shaker Mahmoud, Director of the Center for Strategic Studies. The College of Islamic Sciences, in cooperation with the Center for Strategic Studies, held the sixth scientific symposium entitled  (Immunization of youth is our way to keep them away from stray ideas) at the Great Conference Hall of the Presidency of the University on 5/15/2018.The seminar was started by the President of Anbar University, who called for attention to students and youth and finding them a prominent place in society and a decent life and strengthening their position in peaceful coexistence and societal security, and they must be kept away from deviant ideas in any way in order to reach the sustainable security that every citizen seeks to live in peace. The symposium included three themes:

 1- The religious theme

(Methods of immunizing youth to keep them away from stray ideas) by Prof. Dr. Akram Obaid Freih, Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences

2- Educational psychological theme

 (Psychological Immunization Strategy for University Students) Prof. Dr. Safi Kamal Salih, College of Education for the Humanities

 3- The strategic theme

 

(With our youth, we build our strategy for sustainable security) (Prof. Dr. Falah Mubarak Bardan, Prof. Dr. Zahir Faisal Badawi ((Center for Strategic Studies))

 

Through their research, the participants urged to create leaders from among the youth and to keep them from touching the danger of extremist groups that attack society with their stray ideas that lead to the path of misguidance, which causes a violation of the Islamic belief. Behind the false propaganda that leads to deviation from the correct Islamic approach and peaceful coexistence among all members of society.
