The Center of Strategic Studies, Anbar University, holds a consultative meeting with experts from security institutions in Iraq. The Center for Strategic Studies, Anbar University, held a consultative meeting with experts from security institutions on Sunday morning 1/26/2020 at ten A.M. The consultative meeting was started by the director of the center of  Strategic Studies Professor Dr. Thaer Shaker Mahmoud with a welcome word and welcomed the distinguished guests, after which he spoke about the importance of the Center of Strategic Studies in the stability and security of Anbar Governorate through the studies that the research teams work by providing field studies that aim to spread security and stability in our Iraq. Then the Major General Khaled Al-Bayati, a strategic expert from AlNahrain Center for Strategic Studies, talked about the stability of the liberated provinces from ISIS, the return of the displaced, the activation of coexistence, community peace, unity and not to disrupt the security situation in Iraq. After which Dr. Dr. Noha Al-Darwish, a consultant and expert in the ICTS, spoke about the strategy to combat violent extremism and the role of universities in confronting perverted ideas, and the importance of socialization in that and the role of experts of human sciences in confronting terrorism and extremism, and working to develop the concept of citizenship in Iraq. The meeting was also attended by the advisor to the president of Anbar University for public relations, Prof. Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Jassim, the heads of scientific departments and researchers of the center. The meeting is concluded with a number of recommendations and proposals that plan the strategy for sustainable security in Iraq.
