Foreseeing the political future of post-ISIS Iraq in light of the current changes

The observer of world history finds that there are great changes occurring in societies after the tremendous events that these societies are going through, let alone if this event was the brutality of criminal gangs occupying large areas of two neighboring countries, Iraq and Syria, and this occupation and brutality would not have happened without international sponsorship. Global intelligence services are influential in the region and the world. This means that there are global political balances and political and economic dynamics that require creating such a matter and raising ISIS and harnessing it to serve the interests of those countries. Certainly, the political movement and political turmoil (if the name is correct) in the neighboring countries will cast a shadow over the Iraqi political reality, since the Iraqi political parties after the year 2003 have external links and this has become evident and it is said by declaring and not hinting by many of those parties.

In embodiment of the university’s role in interacting with issues that directly or indirectly affect the Iraqi internal and political situation in particular, Anbar University decided to prepare strategic advisory studies at a high level of analysis and investigation to explore the future of Iraq in general and Anbar Governorate in particular for the post-ISIS phase. Anbar  suffered from the occupation of ISIS gangs, and this study comes to foresee the political future of Iraq before the first elections after the liberation of Anbar Province and other regions from ISIS terrorist gangs, and it will be supplemented with other studies in a series of publications issued by the Center for Strategic Studies at the university and under our direct supervision, due to the importance of studying the situation Iraq after ISIS from all sides to provide a clear vision for the decision-maker and proposals to prevent the return of terrorism again to Iraq and to contribute to the creation of sustainable societal development in Iraq.
