In response to the invitation from Huawei, the leading Chinese company in the field of information and communication technology at Anbar University, the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Talib Al-Nada and the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology attended the honoring ceremony for the winners of the company's competitions, which was held on the nineteenth of this month of April in the guest house of the Council of Ministers

Where the largest share of the distinguished and winners of the participants from Anbar University in the various competitions that were at the level of the Middle East and these competitions were on different topics in information and communication technology, as follows:

 - Innovation competition (creativity) 2020, as the Anbar University team won the Best Model Award in this competition, and the team consisted of Prof. Bilal Ismail Khalil (Team Supervisor)

And M. Samir Ismail Ali

And student Muhammad Salem Badr

And student Muhammad Munir Yassin.

The ICT 2019 competition was awarded to student Omar Khalil Ibrahim.

The ICT 2018 competition is for student Hamza Kamel Shahouz.

The honor was attended by the Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers, His Excellency the Minister of Communications, the Chairman of the Media and Communications Authority, the Administrative Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the Chinese Ambassador to Iraq, the Presidents of Baghdad University and the Technological University, the Director of Huawei for the Middle East and the Director of the Company's Iraq Branch.
