The Council of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology - University of Anbar held its eighth regular session for the academic year 2021/2022 today, Monday, 17/1/2022, headed by Prof. Salah Awad Salman, the respected Dean of the College, in the presence of all members.

The session began with the Chairman of the Council welcoming the members, wishing everyone success in their work in the service of the scientific process in the college and university.

The minutes of the meeting included the following:-

1. The faculty council members discussed the expected research plan for the month of January for the academic year (22-2023) with the committee that was formed to follow up on the achievement in publishing scientific research for the two teachers and postgraduate students in the college, where the teachers who have published in this month were addressed to be updated Scientific outputs.

2. The Council reviewed the requests for postponement of the students of the first stage and discussed the reasons, after which the decision was taken to postpone.

3. The council discussed the necessity of providing the necessary supplies for the examination committees in order to pass the first semester exams.

4. Mapping the exam halls in a way that is commensurate with the exceptional situation of providing social distancing.

5. The Dean emphasized that the students' endeavors for all academic subjects should be announced a week before the exams.

6. The Council discussed the necessity of providing an isolation hall, which will be designated for students infected with the Corona virus.

7. It is necessary to take into account that the time of students of the first stage does not intersect with the exams of the rest of the stages and to avoid gatherings as much as possible.

8. It was emphasized that there should be three observers in each exam hall, and that they should be present half an hour before the exam.
