A seminar entitled "Characterization and Distribution of Soil in Western desert" was held by the Assistant Professor Dr. Abdul Kareem Ahmed Makhilaf at 10 o'clock on Tuesday 14/5/2019.
On the seminar hall at the Center of Desert Studies, chaired by Dr. Ali Mohammed Raja
The topics of the lecture concerned the direction of survey and classification of soils in the desert lands, the second axis is evaluated in terms of agriculture and the third axis is ways to combat desertification. The seminar was attended by the Director of the Center, Prof. Dr. Idham Ali Abed and the heads of departments and teachers and researchers at the center.
