Meeting of the Supreme Committee of the 1st International Conference of Center of Desert Studies

The President of University of Anbar, Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Talib Al-Neda, Chairman of the Supreme Committee supervising the 1st International Conference of Desert Studies, chaired a meeting that included the Vice-Presidents and heads of the sub-committees of the conference which will be held by the Center of Desert Studies in cooperation with the College of Agriculture for the period (17-18 / 11/2021) under the slogan (Research Applied and field studies the basis of sustainable development in the desert). At the beginning of the meeting, the President reviewed the entirety of the scientific conferences that held in the past period and the impressive successes achieved at all levels praising the great efforts by the sub-committees in their work to make these conferences successful, calling on everyone to redouble efforts to complete all the requirements for holding the conference because of its great importance in finding effective solutions to the problems and obstacles that afflict the desert regions at the level of Anbar and Iraq. They also discussed all topics related to the sub-committees of the conference, especially with regard to publishing the participating researches in the reputable scientific journals indexed in SCOPUS.
