1- To provide strategic studies for the development of the Euphrates Basin in the fields of agriculture, industry, tourism, education and others. 2 - Providing databases for the consultant and designed in the field of different strategic studies. 3. Provide scientific consultations related to development in all its forms and prepare feasibility studies related thereto. 4. Studying and analyzing the problems identified in the Upper Euphrates basin which concerned to the various relevant departments, and developing alternatives scientific solutions. 5- To find ways to cooperate with the relevant authorities, and to develop expertise in the fields of specialization of the Center through interaction with various local, regional and international organizations. 6. Preparation of training and training courses for the development of various scientific and technical staff in the region and cooperation with relevant local and international bodies.
