A research team in our college succeeds in recording medically important protein sequences

The research team, consisting of Prof. Dr. Harith Kamel Banieh and master's student Rawa Khalaf Mohammed in the Department of Life Sciences recorded the sequences of the sk gene encoding the clinically important protein (Streptokinase) in the gene bank of the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI). On behalf of the University of Anbar, the serial number (MT872955.1) and (MT872954.1) were given to the studied genes belonging to two different types of Streptococcus bacteria, which were part of a study on the gene (sk) where it reached the possibility of differentiation Among Streptococcus species through variation in gene sequences (sk).
