Registration and Students Affairs

 

 

 

  

  Tasks:

1-    Managing the student affairs for undergraduate students in the college and coordinating everything related to it with the relevant authorities.

2-    Following up on the implementation of the college’s initial studies acceptance plan and submitting a study accordingly if the results of the central admission emerge.

3-    Preparing educational evaluation studies related to the different student phenomena and providing appropriate recommendations on them when requested, or issuing laws or instructions that should be evaluated.

4-    Managing and organizing the admission of graduates through a special committee that is proposed to be formed annually.

5-    Signing documents and wall certificates for graduates.

6-    Preparing the publications of student decisions, instructions and laws periodically to ensure their continued issuance.

7-     Supervising the performance of work in the department, following up the activities of the employees, distributing tasks and responsibilities among the employees of the department, in a way that contributes to the development and improvement of work performance.

8-    Representing the department in scientific and educational conferences, seminars, and permanent and temporary committees.

Duties:

1-    The generalizations of all student decisions and instructions issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research on the colleges, following up their implementation and answering the inquiries received regarding them.

2-    Recommendation and approval of all students' matters that are included in the records of the boards of colleges and institutes (postponement, failure, enrollment promotions, failure to fail, disciplinary punishment ... etc.

3-    Considering applications submitted by college students in accordance with student instructions and decisions issued by the ministry and the university.

4-     Answer the documents that received from the ministry related to student affairs in the faculties and institutes of the university after examining the academic curriculum and the opinion of the faculty deanship for each case.

5-    Executing the Ministry’s documents regarding fraudulent students and their uncles on the colleges and institutes, and the media of the college or institute to take legal measures against them.

6-    To approach the Ministry about cases of forgery of student documents.

7-    Preparing the students ’parking spaces or what they require in terms of data or information.

8-    Uncles of the instructions for students who have enrolled, their restrictions, crossing the faculty, and answering inquiries about it.

9-    Follow up on checking the documents for the preparatory study for those admitted in each academic year.

10-   Answer the observations and inquiries of the Control and Finance Department regarding student affairs, as well as forged students, and check documents for students admitted to colleges and university institutes.

11-  Coordination with the Legal and Administrative / Legal Affairs Department regarding the measures taken in the field of disciplinary penalties for students as well as forged students.

12-  Circulating the instructions for losing records (master - sheets), sending the lost years, according to the scientific departments, to the ministry, and answering the inquiries received in this regard.
