Laboratory accreditation unit
Quality Assurance Unit mission 1- Following up on the implementation of quality plans within the university with regard to quality assurance in order to build an internal quality system, which enhances the quality of the educational process 2- Spreading the culture of quality among faculty members, students and all university employees, and raising awareness of the importance of implementing quality systems and academic accreditation 3- Follow-up of the university's ranking within the international rankings. 4- Preparing a comprehensive quality guide 5- Preparing studies that reflect the reality of the university and developing a plan for improvement within international standards. 6- Applying international academic accreditation standards and according to the specialization of colleges, institutes and centers to obtain an accreditation certificate from sober institutions. 7- Conducting periodic monitoring and follow-up to implement quality assurance and accreditation standards within the university. 8- Measuring opinion through periodic questionnaires for the components of the educational process, which include (student’s opinion of the educational process - faculty member’s opinion - periodic reports). 9- Preparing periodic reports on the activities of the division and submitting them to the quality assurance and accreditation department at the university. 10- Follow up on the preparation of self-evaluation reports. 11- Any other tasks assigned to the division by heading the department to enhance the role of ensuring the quality of the educational process in the future. University performance evaluation unit mission 1- Follow-up to complete the senior leaders' evaluation files. 2- Follow-up to complete the teaching files' evaluation. 3- Follow-up to complete the researcher teaching evaluation files. 4- Follow-up to complete the employees' calendar files. 5- Assisting the university formations through (divisions / units) quality assurance and academic accreditation to fill in the evaluation files at the university. 6- Preparing analytical studies to raise the performance of university formations 7- Preparing periodic reports on the unit’s activities and submitting them to the Presidency of the Quality Assurance and University Performance Department. 8- Collecting the results of analytical studies on performance evaluation, stating their positives and negatives, and presenting the necessary proposals for the development and improvement of performance. 9- Follow-up to evaluate the performance of the university presidency employees. Training and technical support unit mission 1- Spreading the culture of quality in the college formations. 2- Holding training courses and development courses for workers in the field of quality and accreditation. 3- Providing full technical support to the department of quality assurance and university performance in the field of information systems. 4- Preparing a plan to establish everything new about quality, such as (international conferences in the field of quality, workshops). 5- Any other tasks assigned to the division from the presidency of the Quality Assurance and University Performance Department. 6- Representing the department in the committees' work related to performance evaluation. 7- Developing a plan to set up workshops. 8- Developing a plan to hold specialized seminars. 9- Developing a plan to set up training courses. Laboratory accreditation unit An administrative unit affiliated with the Quality Assurance and Performance Assessment Division, concerned with following up the implementation of national standards, up to international standards for laboratory quality to obtain a certification of accreditation, in addition to the laboratory equipment coding program for the supervisory and scientific evaluation apparatus at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
