A Scientific Symposium at College of Engineering about the role of Civil Engineer in Construction Projects

College of Engineering with the Department of Construction and Projects / University of Anbar, held the scientific symposium: -


The Role of  Civil engineer in Construction Projects / reality and solutions


On Wednesday 13/4/2022 and at Ibn Al-Haytham Hall in the same  department.


The symposium started with a welcoming  by the Dean of  College, and wishing the symposium success. He asked for its recommendations to  applicable on the ground in order to achieve its objectives.

 

 

The symposium, which was attended by the President of University, the Assistant President of University for Administrative Affairs, the Dean of  College, the Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs, the Associate Governor of Anbar for Technical Affairs, the Iraqi Engineers Union / Anbar Branch,  number of faculty teachers and engineers from the Department of Construction and Projects.


The aims of this sympsoium are:

1- Shed light on the most prominent problems and obstacles facing the civil engineer during his work in construction projects in the current period.
2- work on proposing the necessary solutions to those problems in order to push and sustain the momentum of construction projects in the governorate.


The symposium included two scientific sessions, during which a number of lectures were delivered by specialized professors that discussed the topics of the symposium:

 


1- The engineering reality and its development in the construction projects of Anbar Governorate.
2- Monitoring the costs and progress of construction projects.
3- The relationship of the construction laboratories with the resident engineer department.
4- Implementation, planning and operation of engineering projects.
 The sessions included questions and discussions

.


At the end,  appreciation  certificates  were distributed for  lecturers  and preparatory committees.
