Ministerial Committee visits the Department of Civil Engineering in preparation for the development of a Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering

A ministerial committee formed by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research visited the Department of Civil Engineering - Faculty of Engineering - Anbar University Monday, 2019/7/29 ,,, The objective of the visit is for the purpose of the development of postgraduate studies in the department in the specialty of «Geotechnical Engineering >>

The work of the Committee included the evaluation of the halls and laboratories to be opened for this purpose, as well as access to a quorum of professors and their scientific capacity.

The committee was represented by Dr. Alaa Nasser from the University of Baghdad «President» and the membership of Assistant Professor Dr. Mahmoud Diab from the University of Baghdad, Assistant Professor Dr. Mahmoud Rashid of the University of Technology and Assistant Professor Dr. Makki Mohammed of the University of Technology.

Where the ministerial delegation was received by the head of department a. M . Dr. Yousef Abdel Wahed Mansour and a group of faculty members with all gratitude and appreciation. All the scientific and organizational aspects of the above study were studied.

The Committee expressed its positive impressions regarding the exceptional efforts made in the creation and establishment of the halls and laboratories suitable for the development of this study.

The opening of a Master in Geotechnical competence is a qualitative addition that will provide the country and the governorate with scientific competencies that will help in building infrastructure, and also contribute to the output of teachers who have the ability to assume educational responsibility to serve our society and our dear country.
