Assessment of heavy metals in the water and sediments

of Habbaniyah lake

On Monday, 20/12/2021 at 9:00 am in the discussion hall in the Department of Dams and Water Resources Engineering.

The study presented by the student aims to determine the quantities of some heavy metals (Fe, Cr, Cd, Cr, Zn, Pb, Cu, Ni) in the water and sediments of Lake Habbaniyah, evaluate water and sediments using pollution indicators, and estimate pollution sources through the use of PCA statistical analysis. , CA, PC)) Geographical information systems have been used to show the temporal and spatial pollution by producing maps of the distribution of heavy metals in the water and sediments of the lake.

The discussion committee consisted of:
