College of Applied Sciences-Heet ... Installing Solar Panels to Supply Laboratories with Electricity

In a direct support of Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Taleb Saleh Al-Nada, President of Anbar University, solar panels were installed on the roof of college of applied sciences-Heet to supply the college with electricity. This project is considered as one of the most significant objectives within the university’s strategic plan to provide alternatives of renewable energy such as using solar and wind in all the university’s formations. After the inclusion of renewable energy into the university’s projects, such as the central laboratories at the university, similar project of solar energy is now launched at the college of applied sciences-Heet to support its research laboratories, which will open numerous projects through solar, wind and hybrid energy in the near future.

University of Anbar president congratulated the promising college of applied sciences for using alternative renewable energy (solar energy) as a source of electricity in the research laboratories. Similar vision is designed and planned to be used in the research centers and laboratories in all the institutions and formations of the university.
