The University of Anbar holds a workshop on standard documents and how to apply them in engineering projects

The president of University, Professor Dr. Khalid Battal Al-Najim and Dr. Aref Saleh Mukhlef, The Vice-President of the University for Administrative Affairs, Director of Construction and Projects Engineers, and a number of companies and contractors.
The Department of Construction and Projects in cooperation with the Government Contracts Division at the Presidency of the University held on Monday, 18th December, 2017 a workshop entitled ‘Standard documentation and how to apply them in projects’ for the period from 18th -20th of December 2017, held in the meeting room at the presidency hall.
The workshop included several sections, The first was entitled the methods of administrative contracting according to the standard documents represented by assistant lecturer Ali Mukhlef Hammad, the director of government contracts in the presidency of the university, and the second section represented by the engineer Diaa Nuri on how to prepare the standard document for the contract of works, and the third one was the title of measurement and changes and additional works represented by the engineer Jamal Mahdi Abdullah.
As for the standard documents in the balance of negatives and positives was the title of the last section represented by Dr. Adel Hatem Nawar, the director of reconstruction and projects. The aims of the workshop is contributing to the control of administrative corruption by providing standards that are used in all types of contracts and tenders and guarantee fair and transparent competition in the implementation of government contracts and to achieve a clear legislative and operational environment for all sectors dealing with government in general.
