The Centre of Renewable Energy Research has Installed a 5KVA Solar Panels
Many developing countries nowadays have come up with solar energy projects that could be very useful and environment-friendly technology. For this reason, the University have exerted every effort to make solar energy within its mission plan for the coming years.
As an initial step, a solar energy system has been installed, as part of the centre activities and efforts to serve community. The system has 12 solar panels with a capacity of 5KVA and 315W. The solar panels are made by MTS company whereas the Gel batteries of 200V-12A made by UK company, and KVA MTS5 invertor.
The system has been successfully tested and can now supply more than 20 AMPs for each single house in Ramadi. Building such a system will not be costly and it will resolve the electricity crisis progressively.
