In directive of the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Taleb Saleh Al-Neda, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Muthanna Muhammad Awwad, the assistant president of the university for scientific affairs, a group of the University professors was formed to visit the university accommodation (6, 3, 2) in coordination with the Psychological and Educational Counselling Department and the Social Research Department in The university accommodation to provide awareness and counselling lectures for students according to the plan drawn up by the committee formed by the presidency of the university. Students were encouraged and supported by those in charge of the university accommodation and officials of the Social Research Department.

This was attended by the following professors from the College of Education for Human Sciences: Asst. Prof. Dr. Hameed Shaher Farhan, a professor in the Department of Quran Sciences and Islamic Education, and the Head of the Psychological  and Educational Counselling Department at the University Presidency, and Dr. Muthanna Ismail Turki, Inst. Omar Khalaf Rashid Al Shujairi and Inst. Salam Sabbar Malik, the teaching staff in the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences. The lecturers were accompanied by Dr. Anas Majid Shahouth, the Assistant Director for Students Affairs and the Social Research Department official, Mr. Thamer Khalaf Al-Dulaimi, the follow-up officer in the accommodation, the Secretary of the accommodation, and a number of employees of the Social Research Department.
