In a new academic and scientific achievement added to the University of Anbar record of continuous successes, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has approved the accreditation of the Journal of Artificial Intelligence in Medical Applications, published by the College of Computer Science and Information Technology at University of Anbar. The journal has been officially included in the list of Iraqi Academic Scientific Journals for academic publishing and scientific promotion purposes after fulfilling all requirements and regulations approved by the Ministry, bringing the total number of accredited scientific journals at the University of Anbar to thirteen.
This achievement is a result of the continuous support provided by the Presidency of the University for scientific research and academic publishing, as well as the dedicated efforts of the Deanship of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology and the editorial board of the journal to enhance its scientific and editorial standards in accordance with recognized academic criteria.
The journal serves as a specialized scientific platform dedicated to publishing research and studies in the fields of artificial intelligence and its medical applications. It contributes to supporting scientific research, strengthening knowledge exchange among researchers inside and outside Iraq, and keeping pace with rapid developments in modern technologies and their applications in the healthcare sector.
On this occasion, Professor Dr. Mushtak Talib Salih Al-Neda, President of the University of Anbar, extended his warmest congratulations to the Deanship of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, the editorial board, and its researchers. He commended the efforts that led to this distinguished achievement and reaffirmed the University’s commitment to supporting high-quality scientific initiatives that enhance its academic and research standing at both the national and international levels.
He also praised the distinguished role played by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Salah Awad Salman, in overseeing the journal’s accreditation process and ensuring the fulfillment of all required standards in line with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s vision for advancing the scientific research and academic publishing system in Iraq.
