The College council
The council meeting of the College of Education for Humanities (CEH) was held on Monday the 22nd of October 2018 at the secretariat of the council. The council was chaired by the dean of the college, Prof Dr Taha Ibrahim. The meeting included a discussion of several topics, which included directions and recommendations from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific research along with the directions of the University of Anbar regarding the new academic year procedures. Such procedures included the regularity of the teaching process, and students’ affairs. The session also included a discussion of the academic curriculum, focussing on the importance of the educational guidance and asserting the values of peaceful unity among all students. In addition, the council discussed forming the examination boards, academic promotions, approving the proposals of the higher studies students, the results of the comprehensive exam of the PhD students, along with assigning periodical lectures for the students of the University accommodation.
