The General Secretariat of the Central Library contains a database of all library resources (books, references, periodicals, dissertations and theses) that are stored in the library server and branched from the server as an internal network (intranet) inside the library building only for all library divisions and units (Automated Systems Division, Technical Procedures Division, Beneficiary Services Division, Administrative Division, Continuing Education Division) and each of these divisions has a special program linked to the database.
As for the search, it is done through terminals linked to the library’s database through which the beneficiary can search for any source by (book title, reference, thesis, periodical, author name, investigator name, translator name and subject headings) and obtain it easily.
Through the library's website, https://www.uoanbar.edu.iq/Library/index.php, it is possible to search for the required library resources from outside the university campus.
The Central Library includes a number of sources, which are as follows

3 . Number of reference books (5525) reference
4. The number of periodicals (3560) old periodicals
5. Number of Dissertations (7420)
