Department of Microbiology Vision : Microbiology Department future plain is to be in the first rank of basic sciences in the college. Mission: Message of the Department is to educate about the risk of Microbes, Viruses ad Parasites on human body and environment and community. Goals: 1- Teaching of Medical microbiology for 3rd year students 2- Teaching of Medical parasitology for 3rd year students 3- Teaching of postgraduate topics in medical microbiology and parasitology for postgraduate students. 4- Participation in symposiums and scientific conferences held in and outside Iraq. Microbiology Department included an advanced Laboratory of Molecular biology and postgraduate Research labs for parasitology, Mycology, Immunology and Bacteriology. In addition to that it includes labs for undergraduate students.
