 About the Department of Physiology &Medical Physics 

The Department was established at the beginning of the establishment of the College in 1988 in addition to teaching Physiology  for the second stage in the college of Medicine. The department also teaches the subject of medical physics and computer science to the first stage students.

  Exams are conducted during the first, second and half semesters and the final exam. The curriculum includes theoretical lectures, discussions and scientific lessons. In addition to teaching physiology,  teachers of the various clinical branches participate in giving lectures in the physiology within the curriculum of the interrelationship between clinical and basic branches. 

Vision, Mission and Objectives of  department of physiology&Medical Physics

Vision:

Physiology is the foundation for all the medical sciences. Without comprehensive and proper understanding of human physiology, it is impossible to appreciate the human body.

Mission :

Improve and develop all the teaching facilities in the college and provide the students, researches and physicians with up to date knowledge and scientific progress in physiology.

Goals:

·        Utilizing cutting edge laboratory knowledge  and computer science in teaching of physiology

·        Teaching medical students modern physiology through making use of internationally recognized, for quality,  text books and references.

·        Establish and maintain curriculum development programs and train students to be prepared for physiology study.

·    Translate the understanding of complex physiology in to a knowledge that can used to improve general health and prevent diseases.
