Divisions and Units

 

 

The College of Pharmacy includes the following divisions:

First: Registration and Student Affairs Division:

The Registration and Student Affairs Division includes four units:

1. The Registration and Admission Unit: which is charged with the tasks of receiving new students, registering them in the college, and providing them with graduation documents after they complete the legal period of study at the College of Pharmacy.

2. Student Affairs Follow-up Unit: It receives students, promotes their requests and directs them in relation to the official working hours, announces study and examination schedules, student lists, distributes them to groups, follows up on student registration in the internal department and issues IDs, which is the link between students and the Deanship of the College.

3. Graduates and Certifications: Its employees assume the following tasks:

·       Issuing graduation endorsements for various governmental and non-governmental institutions inside Iraq and for all college graduates.

·       Issuing graduation murals for all college graduates.

·       Preparing, organizing and issuing graduation documents in Arabic and English (with degrees and without degrees) for all college graduates.

·       Issuing letters of support for study in English for all graduates.

·       Checking the graduation murals and graduation documents of the college graduates received by us from various governmental and non-governmental agencies from inside and outside Iraq, and indicating the validity of their data and its issuance by us.

4. Document audit unit.

 

 

 

 

Second: Division of Quality Assurance and University Performance

 

 

 The department seeks to build an effective system for quality assurance in the college, spreading the culture of quality and accreditation among all employees, and continuous work to develop and improve the college’s performance based on the vision and mission of the college.

1. Quality Assurance Unit.

2. Performance appraisal unit.

3. Training and technical support unit.

4. Laboratory accreditation unit.

Division functions

1. Developing and consolidating the culture of quality and accreditation in the college through the issuance of publications and bulletins.

2. Evaluating the college’s performance and its educational programs and following up on their implementation.

3. Preparing plans and submitting proposals, advice and guidance necessary to develop and improve the college’s performance and extract strengths and weaknesses.

4. Laying down the foundations, rules and procedures for periodic monitoring and follow-up to implement quality assurance and accreditation standards.

5. Following up the faculty efficiency in terms of infrastructure, educational activities and the level of interaction with the community.

6. Coordination and direct contact with the corresponding departments and local and international institutions to benefit and exchange experiences and obtain the services provided by them.

7. Organizing and participating in conferences, seminars and workshops at various levels, whether local or international.

 

 

 

 

Third: Media and Public Relations Division

 

 

 The Division of Media and Public Relations is directly linked to the Dean of the College, administratively and organizationally. The Media Division focuses on the goals of the faculty deanship, its policy, its various activities and its outputs in the media, highlighting its educational and academic identity as required, strengthening and strengthening the relationship of the Deanship with its members and its external community, consolidating positive concepts about it and highlighting its achievements to enhance its position and document its relations with various parties.

Among the objectives of the objectives of the Division of Media and Public Relations:

1. Introducing the mission, goals, plans, policies, and programs of the College of Science, Culture, Sports and Social Sciences

2. Managing, planning, organizing, implementing and covering media and cultural activities and events of all kinds for the college.

3. Introducing the college’s professors and scholars who had a role in the scientific process and introducing them to their scientific achievements and books.

4. Publish all the news and announcements related to the college and submit proposals for visual, audio and readable media activities.

5. Managing the college’s official websites on the Internet and social networking sites, and following up on the media and what is published therein regarding the college’s matters.

6. Preparing and organizing the celebrations and events held by the college.

7. Photographing all the different events and activities in the college, including seminars, conferences and various student activities, and working on publishing them in the media.

8. Active participation in special central events at the university (university day / conferences / graduation ceremonies) and the division includes the following units:

2. Public Relations Unit.
