Scientific seminar on 8^th, December, 2018

Under the auspices of Professor Dr. Mushtaq Taleb Al-Neda, Vice President of University of Anbar for Scientific Affairs and Dean of the college of Pharmacy. The Chemical Safety and biological security committee at University of Anbar, in cooperation with the department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Pharmacy, will hold a symposium on "Chemical and biological safety and security in the laboratories of the University of Anbar Medical Group", It hold on Monday 08/01/2018; in Ibn Rushd hall at the college of Pharmacy. In which the lecturer Dr. Jassim Humadi Hassan from the college of Pharmacy gave a lecture entitled "Security and chemical safety"; he spoke about the chemical hazards and methods of exposure and the chemical store at the university. Moreover, the lecturer, Dr. Elham Hazeim Abdulkareem from the college of Dentistry, gave a lecture entitled "Security and biological safety" and she spoke about the difference between biosafety and biosecurity, biological safety levels, biological hazards, and how to get rid of them. The seminar was attended by the director of environment office in Al-Anbar and his assistant, the assistants of deans for scientific and administrative affairs in the college of Pharmacy, a number of heads of departments, teaching staff from medical group and number of students.
