The College of Pharmacy obtained advanced positions in the tenth major Qur’anic competition held by the Supreme Committee for the Qur’anic Competition at the University of Anbar for the academic year 2020-2021, and it is noteworthy that the College of Pharmacy participated through its representatives from students and one of the college’s employees, as well as the participation of one of the college’s teachers as a member of the jury. They came with the support, encouragement and great support of the Deanship of the College to participate in this competition and the rest of the competitions and events that are held at the level of Anbar University or all universities in Iraq.

There will be a big celebration in the grand hall of the university through which gifts will be distributed to the first winners, and those included will be notified of the time specified for the celebration later.

The results of the participation of the College of Pharmacy were as follows:

First: Winners (Female)

1.      The student (Aya Atheer Awwad - second stage) won first place on the university in the recitation department.

2.      The student (Aisha Hamed Muhammad - the second stage) won the first place over the university in the department of preservation of ten parts.

3.      The student (Zahra Emad Tawfiq - the second stage) won the second place over the university in the department of preserving the entire Qur’an.

Second: Winners (Male)

1.      Mr. (Mowaffaq Talib Rahim - employee), ranked second on the university in the recitation department.

2.      The student (Mahmoud Karim Farhan - the third stage) won the second place on the university in the department of preservation of 5 parts.

3.      The student (Mazyad Kazem Jasser - fourth stage) won the first place on the university in the department of preservation of 10 parts.

4.      The student (Abd al-Sattar Omar Salah - the second stage) won the third place on the university in the department of preserving the entire Qur’an.
