 With the beginning of the new academic year (2019-2018), we are, at the Faculty of Education/Al-Qaim- University of  Anbar,  pleased to extend congratulations to all students and wish them good luck and encourage them to make more efforts to acquire practical skills and knowledge in different disciplines.  We emphasize on the need to acquire social skills and gain experience through interaction with the teaching staff, and interact with the activities held by the Faculty to be a bright spot that serve this country.

I would also like to extend my congratulations to all members of the faculty and administration, and I congratulate them on the new academic year, and hope that they will be as loyal and faithful as they are in their diligent work to elevate this Faculty, achieve its objectives and mission, and achieve the aspirations and wishes of our beloved country and follow the development plans prepared by the ministry, the University and our Faculty.

 Finally, I hope that it will be a distinguished year for all that is full of achievements, creativity and development in order to serve the country.

Prof. Dr. Hammad Nawaf Farhan Al - Dulaimi

Professor of Plant Science and Environment - Dean of Faculty of Education / Al-Qaim University of Anbar

 A contracted CV of the Dean  

Dr. Hamad is a Professor of  Biology at University of Anbar, his  specification is in Plant Science and Environment, Physiology.  He has got BSc degree from  Baghdad University (1974), and PhD from Bangor University (1989). He also taught  at the University of Sana'a (Yemen), College of Education (Hajjah) for the period 1997-2003. He is  a full Professor since 2007 at Anbar University.  He  has published more than 23 papers in scientific journals (Iraqi, Arab and international). He also supervised many master's and doctorate students. He has discussed many thesis for postgraduate students. He participated in more than 17 seminars and scientific conferences (local and international). He has published three text books: one of them  in English.  He has held several academic positions: Head of Biology Department, College of Education for Pure Sciences, University of Anbar (1990-1994). Head of Biology Department, Faculty of Education (Hajja), Sana'a University (1997-2003). Dean of Faculty of Education/Al-Qaim, University of Anbar(2008-2013). He was the Chairman of the Committee for the Development of Science and Graduate Studies, at University of Anbar (2004-2005) and  Faculty of Education/Al-Qaim (2007). Member of theDeans Committee for  Colleges of Education in Iraq. He was the President and member of several scientific and academic committees in the College and the presidency of University of Anbar. He published many scientific and cultural articles in newspapers, magazines and social networking sites. Shields and Prizes: He received the Medal of Scientific Day for 2013 from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. He also received several awards and shields on Science Day for the years (2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012) (Ministry of Higher Education - Iraq). He received many letters of appreciation   from the Minister and the President of University of Anbar. He is currently the Dean of the College of Education/Al Qaim, University of Anbar since January 2016.
