Quranic Sciences and Islamic Education Dept. / Faculty of Education / Al-Qaim.

- Establishment: This Department was one of two departments which is opened by the Faculty of Education in Al-Qaim city in 2007. It is part of this college since that day despite the great difficulties and exceptional circumstances. This department is making its way through a remarkable development and great impact.

- Academic and scientific aspects:

The most important aspects that comprise the focus of this department are:

- First: the basic sciences: linguistics, grammar, the science of reciting, the science of pronunciation and the science of interpretation, and others.

- Second: the supporting sciences: it comprises the science of the old religious stories, the science of Theology, the science of jurisprudence, the principles of jurisprudence, knowledge of Allah and the Day of Judgment and others.

- Faculty members: This departments has been established with a few professors who took the responsibility of carrying out administrative and academic burdens. Today, the number of academic professors  are more than a dozen with expertise and rare specialties and still aspire to appoint more faculty members in order to develop it academically and scientifically.

- Other staff and administrators: This section includes a number of administrators and technicians who have had a clear impact on his administrative career, especially in the registration unit and free of education and the Internet and other facilities of the department.

The number of students and alumni:

- The Department of Quran Sciences annually receives more than one hundred and thirty students at the first level before the last exceptional circumstances. The total number of students in the department before the last events was more than 500 students at all stages. Each year more than forty-five graduates were qualified to work in secondary schools.
