      The Public Administration major is one of the most important disciplines at the level of Arab and international universities. This specialization is concerned with everything related to management at the government level and state agencies in their local and central scope. The essence of this specialization's concern is working to raise the efficiency and effectiveness of state agencies and departments, whether those aimed at achieving the public interest, such as ministries, general directorates and their branches, or government establishments (public service and production companies), based on self-financing or profit-oriented, as a new trend that is receiving increasing attention internationally, regionally, and academically in practice. . There is a demand for the outputs of the department to work in the government sector, which highlights the importance of this department locally and internationally. In Iraq, there is the Department of Public Administration, in addition to the University of Anbar, the University of Baghdad, the University of Fallujah, the University of Diyala, the University of Dhi Qar, as well as the University of Salah al-Din.
