Participation in the International Conference ARAB ICT

Dr. Ahmed Talaat Hammoodi, the Director of the Renewable Energy Research Center, participated in the International Conference (ARAB ICT) held in Bahrainon 27-28/2/2024. His contribution involved presenting a research paper titled:

"ICT Sector in Iraq: Continuous Progress and Increasing Challenges."

The research paper explored significant developments in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) sector in Iraq over recent years. The session provided a comprehensive analysis of the current state of the sector, emphasizing progress in infrastructure development, digital integration, and technological innovation.

The discussion also recognized the growing challenges facing the ICT sector in Iraq, such as cybersecurity threats, regulatory complexities, and the necessity for skilled workforce development.
